WhatsApp is working on a feature that will allow Meta AI to reply to photos and edit them.
According to a WABetaInfo report, WhatsApp is developing a feature that will enable Meta AI to interact with images manually shared by users through a new chat button which will allow users to manually share photos with Meta AI.
The app will allow users to ask questions about their pictures, like identifying objects or proving context, according to the report.
The new feature will allow users to edit their images directly by sharing prompts. They will have complete control over their pictures and will be able to delete them at any time.
"With this new capability, users will be able to ask questions about their photos, such as identifying objects or providing context. Meta AI will also offer the feature to make changes to photos, enabling users to edit their images directly within the chat by sharing a prompt," read the blog.
The feature is likely to be optional and would require users to opt in before they can start using it and Meta AI won't be able to read other messages in the chat.
